MP Fashion at RAINN FASHION On Common Ground Charity Event by Nicole Stolz Lier
I will have the pleasure of attending my first ever fashion charity event and trunk show on Saturday January 21, 2017: “RAINN FASHION On Common Ground Charity Designer & Artisan Showcase & Trunk Show.” What an amazing way to start my new year while also benefiting RAINN (Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network), Common Ground, and Haven charities.
RAINN is the largest national anti-sexual violence organization and they created and operated the first rape hotline. Common Ground provides a lifeline to individuals and families in crisis, and HAVEN is a comprehensive program for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. This fundraising event will be held at The Rattlesnake Club in Detroit, MI from 6 to 11pm. Tickets available for purchase at:
Ticket price includes adult beverages, artist display, runway & trunk show, hors d’oeuvres, and much more!
The event will be hosted by Jason Colthorp from Local 4 News, and reigning Ms. Michigan Sherlyn Fox seen above. The event couldn’t be put together without all of the sponsors including but not limited to: DownRiver Gymnastics, Art Van, OMG Realty, Salon Rush, Gorgeous Gal, Loyalty Vacations-The Martino’s, The Rattlesnake Club, and the list goes on!
Mila Pershyna, designer behind the contemporary clothing line ‘MP Fashion’ is also one of the sponsors of this charitable event. Mila’s clothing is vibrant, unique, fashion forward, and designed with the modern woman and mother in mind. Mila and I first connected on Instagram last year. She is a mother of one son and expecting another in March! She first began designing as a little girl and then in 2013 started her own line.
